BROOKDALE SOUTH PARK NURSING HOME HAD LIVE ROACHES DURING INSPECTION, SCORES 88

Date:

During a December 2, 2019 health inspection the Brookdale South Park nursing home scored a dismal 88 at the 5326 Park Road location in Charlotte, NC.

Even worse the inspector observed live roaches in the laundry room of the facility. The flooring in the laundry rooms also had cracked tiles. There were stained/soiled mattresses, dressers, and common furniture inside the building.

The inspector saw a mildewed shower curtain in the spa. There was no back flow preventer on the shower wand.

There was no cleaner or disinfectant located in over half of the spa rooms and bathrooms with showers. There was also no disinfectant located for cleaning water jets in tubs.
