Jerome Davis, Jr., 27, is the suspect regarding the murder of Khira Mckinley.
On July 4, 2019 Khira was shot and killed in a vehicle on Oakwinds Court Charlotte, NC.
Jerome was identified as a suspect. On August 5, 2019, members of the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located Jerome in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Jerome is currently being held in South Carolina until he can be extradited back to Charlotte.
Jerome will be served with warrants for murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied property inflicting serious bodily injury.
Khira’s brother Kenneth Armstrong was killed on June 20, 2019 at a swimming pool shooting.
