Police have arrested Everette Campbell, 18, for the murder of 58-year-old Donald Myers.
The murder took place on Snow Lane on October 19, 2018. Donald was shot to death in his apartment at the Heritage Park Apartments.
Earlier today, detectives with CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team coordinated the arrest with the NC SBI in Laurinburg, North Carolina. CMPD Homicide Detectives traveled to Laurinburg where they interviewed Everette.
At the conclusion of the interview, he was charged with Murder and Possession of Firearm by Felon. The extradition process has begun, but there is no current timetable on his return to Charlotte.
