A husband and wife couple were both shot on Newland Road Charlotte, NC on April 3, 2019. The area is near Lasalle Street.
The wife identified as Santa Acevedo, 71, died from the shooting. The husband was taken to Atrium Health for treatment. It appears that the shooting occurred in a house.
Officials were called to the scene after gunshots were fired. Santa and her husband were found shot.
