Four people are dead from a drunk wrong way driver
26-year-old Michael Rosario-Cruz is accused of killing 4 people in a wrong way DWI crash. The dead victims are Kiercy Hickson, 20, Brad Palmer, 18, Haleigh Salazar, 20, and Quincy Jones, 19. The fatal crash was on May 22, 2026 in Canadian County, Oklahoma on I-40.

Some of the victims had recently graduated high school They were all riding in the same vehicle on the interstate. Michael is accused of driving drunk and driving in the wrong direction of traffic at high speeds.
Michael drove around 6 miles in the wrong direction before smashing into the vehicle that the victims were in. Michael drove head on into the victims. The victims died on impact.
The crash totaled both vehicles. The jaws of life vehicle extraction tool had to be used to pull the dead bodies of the victims out the mangled car.
Michael was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital.
The suspect was arrested after being released from the hospital on four offenses of second degree murder, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury, transporting an open container, possessing a firearm with an altered ID during the commission of a felony, carrying firearms while under the influence, and wrong way on a one way road.
