3-year-old Elijah LaFrance was celebrating his birthday party when he was shot and killed in Miami, Florida around 8 p.m. on April 24, 2021. The birthday party was at an Airbnb rental house.
Elijah was at his party with friends and family inside the house having a fun time, when out of no where armed suspects drove by the birthday party with semiautomatic rifles and shot several shots. Bullets went speeding into the home and hit Elijah.
The suspects shot over 60 times. Elijah was rushed to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
A 21-year-old woman was also shot and is in stable condition at Aventura Hospital. The woman is expected to recover.
