Dead bodies have been showing up at McDowell Park in Charlotte, NC. On August 14, 2020 two individuals were at the park in the water, they went into Lake Wylie for a swim. Both began struggling; one was pulled from the water and driven to the hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.
The second individual was located underwater by the Charlotte-Fire Department about a half hour later. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
On August 8, 2020 there were 2 dead bodies found in McDowell park during the evening hours.
