Child abuse in Charlotte is a growing concern, as episodes are happening increasingly.

All children were naked and the room was disheveled. A knife was found accessible to the kids. The bed that the kids were found on was soaked with urination and defecation.

Naaijha is the mother of the kids and had rented the room but she had left for an extended period of time. Naaijha has been named in previous police reports, CPS referrals, and CDCP referrals.

A witness at the motel reported to management that the children were first seen unattended with the door open to the public. The area is well known for drug activity, prostitution, and violent crime.

Naaijha was later arrested charged with 3 counts of child abuse.
