3 FOOTBALL PLAYERS FROM UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA MURDERED ON CAMPUS

3 University of Virginia football players were shot and killed in a wild murder on the college campus in Charlottesville, VA on November 13, 2022 around 10:30 p.m. Lavel Davis, Devin Chandler, and D’Sean Perry are the 3 people killed. 2 other students were shot and injured.

Former University of Virginia football player Christopher Darnell Jones was arrested charged with the triple murder.

 The triple homicide was at 10:30 p.m. on campus. A bus load of students had just got back to the University of Virginia’s campus from a field trip. The students were still on the bus inside the parking garage when several shots were fired.

Lavel, Devin, and D’sean were fatally shot. They died on the bus. 2 other students were shot, bringing the total shot count to 5. All three men killed were football players  for the university.

The suspect Christopher was also a football player for the school. There is no word on what exactly started the shooting.

Christopher left the scene after the shooting. He was arrested 12 hours later in Henrico County, VA.

The 3 students killed were all juniors at the university. Devin played wide receiver along with Lavel. And D’sean played linebacker. Devin played high school football in Charlotte, NC at Hough High School.

Lavel played high school football in Dorchester, South Carolina. D’sean played high school football in Miami, FL.

Christopher faces three counts of second degree murder, along with other charges. Classes were canceled at the University of Virginia on Monday.
