The gripping death of 2-year-old Nikolette Rivera has shocked the United States.
On October 20, 2019 gun fire rang out around 3:30 p.m. at a home in north Philadelphia. A shooter opened fire on a residence from outside, hitting Nikolette in the back of the head.
The child died in her mother’s arms at the scene. Nikolette’s mother was shot twice, but survived.
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Nikolette, but has not been identified.
