Katherine Roxana Lopez Cruz, 16, and Michelle Avila Robles, 13, were both killed in a chaotic shooting on Christmas Eve 2020 in Charlotte, NC. A Christmas party was taking place when several shots rang out on Olde Savannah Road around 11:30 p.m.
Several people were shot and injured overall. Two people were shot in the head, another victim had a laceration, and several others were shot. After the shots rang out, people began running out of the home where the party was. Alcohol likely played a part in the shooters motive.
One of the girls died on the scene and the other girl died at the hospital. No arrests have been made.
