14-year-old Nivia Danner was shot and killed on September 14, 2021 at Roger’s Bail Bonding in Gastonia, NC. Santonio Eskridge, 19, is charged with Nivia’s murder.
Santonio was at Roger’s Bail Bonding business with Nivia, at point blank range Nivia was then shot and killed, allegedly by Santonio. The shooting was in the afternoon at 1:20.
Nivia was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead due to her injuries from the shooting.
On September 15, 2021 Santonio was arrested and charged with Nivia’s murder and possession of a firearm by felon. Nivia attended church in the area where she was on the youth ministry and part of the gospel choir.
