Friday the 13th is a day known for bad luck and tragedy. On Friday 13th December 2024 Hendrix Truesdale, 11, was killed after he was hit by a truck in Charlotte, NC. Sadly the boy was killed in the Christmas season.

An ambulance transported Hendrix to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Hendrix was just in the 6th grade. There have been many deaths on Friday the 13th in Charlotte.
A adult woman identified as Lashunda McLendon was murdered on Friday the 13th in Charlotte.
The truck driver was not charged after hitting Hendrix.
