On October 20, 2021 one person was murdered on Spring Street Charlotte, NC in the afternoon. This is the 4th homicide in Charlotte this week.
The victim was killed near a home on Spring Street. Police arrived and began looking for a suspect. The SWAT team was called to the location and assisted with a search.
Walter G. Byers Elementary School was placed on lock down as a precaution, the school is very close to the site of the murder.
