NEARLY $100,000 OF METH FOUND HIDDEN INSIDE WOMAN’S CAR

A woman at the I-8 checkpoint near Pine Valley, CA had bundles of methamphetamine concealed inside her vehicle. The incident began on April 13, 2020.

A Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the vehicle.

Agents searched the vehicle and found 42 bundles hidden inside both rear quarter panels. The bundles tested positive for methamphetamine, weighed 43.78 pounds, and has an estimated street value of $98,505.

The driver, a 22-year-old U.S. citizen, was arrested. Both the woman and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.  The vehicle was seized by the U.S. Border Patrol.
