ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT SEX OFFENDER ARRESTED BY BORDER PATROL

Border Patrol agents arrested a convicted sex offender near Nogales, Arizona on December 27, 2019.

At approximately 10 p.m., agents apprehended 40-year-old Manuel Todelo-Gebara after he illegally entered the United States. Records checks revealed Todelo-Gebara, a Mexican National, was convicted of sexual assault in Cook County, Illinois, in 2004. He was sentenced to five years in prison before being deported to Mexico. 

Todelo-Gebara will face federal prosecution for immigration violations.

All persons apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol undergo criminal history checks using biometrics to ensure illegal immigrants with criminal histories are positively identified.
