U.S. CUSTOMS OFFICERS SEIZE OVER $2 MILLION IN COCAINE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers intercepted $2,007,700 in cocaine at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility in Pharr, Texas.

On August 12, 2021, officers encountered a tractor trailer at the cargo facility arriving from Mexico. A officer referred the conveyance for further inspection, which included utilizing non-intrusive imaging equipment and screening by a canine team. 

After physically inspecting the tractor-trailer, officers discovered 96 packages of cocaine weighing 260.36 pounds concealed within the trailer.

Officers seized the narcotics and the tractor-trailer.
