MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO TRAFFICKING FENTANYL, SENTENCED TO PRISON

Wonya Harris-Flemming, 27, pled guilty to fentanyl drug trafficking on April 27, 2023 in Charlotte, NC.

Wonya was arrested on September 22, 2021 accused of selling heroin and fentanyl at trafficking amounts. Wonya sold drugs to undercover cops at apartments on Pike Road in Charlotte.

On another occasion, Wonya sold fenatanyl and other drugs to undercover cops again on Carelock Circle. See the many people that have died from fentanyl drug overdoses here.

At his 2023 trial Wonya plead guilty. After the Prosecutor’s Felony Crimes Team began jury selection, Wonya decided to plead guilty to two counts of trafficking in fentanyl by delivery and two counts of trafficking in fentanyl by possession.

The judge then sentenced Wonya to 70-93 months in prison and ordered that he pay the mandatory fine of $50,000.
