$5 MILLION WORTH OF MARIJUANA FOUND ON TRACTOR TRAILER

Federal officers intercepted a significant amount of marijuana with an estimated street value of more than $5 million in Laredo, Texas at the World Trade Bridge. 

The seizure occurred on March 20, 2020 when a customs officer referred a 2000 Freightliner tractor trailer hauling a shipment of plastic containers for a secondary examination. Upon a canine and non-intrusive imaging inspection, a total of 137 packages containing 3,272 pounds of marijuana were discovered within the shipment.
