$3.2 MILLION IN METH HIDDEN WITHIN COOKIE SHIPMENT SEIZED AT WORLD TRADE BRIDGE

$3.2 million in methamphetamine was seized at the Laredo Port of Entry in Texas at the World Trade Bridge.

The seizure occurred on Friday, September 25, 2020. Border protection officers encountered a tractor manifesting cookies shipped from Mexico. The 2007 model tractor and shipment were referred for a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, resulting in the discovery of 105 packages containing 164.59 pounds of methamphetamine discovered within the trailer.
