TEENAGER CHARGED WITH MURDERING ANOTHER TEENAGER IN WEST CHARLOTTE

18-year-old Nyquan Marriner is accused of murdering 19-year-old Yimere Joyner on July 5, 2022 on Camp Greene Street Charlotte, NC at apartments.

The homicide was in the late evening. Yimere was shot multiple times in the stairwell of an apartment complex. Cops discovered the victim unresponsive and he was pronounced deceased on scene.

Is is alleged that Yimere was shot during a robbery where he was the victim. Nyquan was arrested on July 6, 2022 and charged with murder, robbery, and conspiracy to robbery.
