Tatyana Childress, 21, was found dead under water inside her car on December 26, 2022 in McLeansville, NC. Tatyana had just been accepted into Norfolk State University.
Tatyana had been missing since 10:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022. Her family reported Tatyana missing on December 25, 2022 Christmas Day.
Tatyana was last seen alive at a Sheetz Gas Station.
Deputies began a search and on December 26th found Tatyana inside a vehicle at a lake submerged in the water. Tatyana was dead. Authorities do not suspect foul play, but the investigation is still on going.
This case has not yet been officially ruled a suicide.
