Latravius Tate, 33, was killed in a traffic accident due to suspected speeding. The crash ejected Latravius from a vehicle.
The crash occurred on The Plaza Charlotte, NC. On August 24, 2019 Latravius was driving a 1997 Honda Civic and was observed traveling at a high rate of speed, recklessly swerving in and out of traffic. Latravius then lost control and ran off the road to the right before striking an utility pole with the right front quarter panel of the vehicle. Latravius was then ejected from the vehicle.

Latravius was transported by medics to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries. On August 24th, 2019 at 8:04 p.m., Latravius was pronounced deceased due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The license plate attached to the vehicle at the time of the crash was fictitious, and the vehicle was not currently registered. Latravius was not wearing a seat belt.
