TEENAGER KILLED, TWO SHOT IN MIDNIGHT HOMICIDE

Dekoven Ware, 18, was shot and killed on July 7, 2021 during a double shooting in Charlotte, NC. 

The shooting was at a residence on Turtle Neck Lane. A suspect shot two victims multiple times. Dekoven was pronounced deceased on scene. The second victim received treatment at a hospital. 

Dekoven is the second teenager to  be murdered this week in Charlotte. 

16-year-old Travell Moore was shot and killed on the 4th of July 2021 just a few days earlier this week.
