Juan Miranda-Jara, 24, was arrested on July 14, 2021 after he allegedly impregnated a 12-year-old girl in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Juan says he had an ongoing relationship with the girl.
On July 14, 2021 the pregnant 12-year-old girl arrived at a Tulsa hospital to give birth to a baby. Investigators say Juan was with the girl at the hospital.
The girl successfully gave birth to the baby. Police confronted Juan and officials say he admitted to having a sexual relationship with the girl. The sexual relationship allegedly started in October 2020.
Officials say that Juan is the biological father of the newborn baby.
Juan was then arrested and booked into jail on a rape charge.
