On July 14, 2021 a 9-year-old girl was killed in a vehicle crash in Dallas, NC. The crash only involved one vehicle around 6 in the evening during a heavy down pour of rain.
The driver and the 9-year-old girl passenger were in the vehicle on U.S. 321 during inclement weather. The vehicle hydroplaned and traveled off the roadway and down an embankment.
3 people were killed in car wrecks within one week in December 2020.
The vehicle then collided with a concrete wall under a bridge. The car flipped upside down and sustained heavy damage. Emergency responders arrived to the scene and had to use the jaws of life tool to cut open the car and get the 2 victims out.
The 9-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Four teenagers were killed in a very powerful head-on crash with a large truck.
