On July 15, 2021 a 5-year-old child was seen on video being kidnapped by a man in Queens, New York. Dolores Diaz Lopez was walking on the sidewalk with her kids when a man ran up to one of her children and snatched the kid.
The man attempted to kidnap the 5-year-old child and force the child into the suspect’s car. The other kids tried to pull the victim out of the man’s vehicle, but were unable to.
The mother was finally able to pull her child out of the man’s car to safety. The suspect then drove off.
The suspect was caught the same day and is now undergoing a mental evaluation. He faces charges of attempted kidnapping, reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Video shows an 11-year-old girl being kidnapped and grabbed by a man, the girl was able to escape.
