On July 28, 2021, the skeletal remains of a human body identified as David were discovered in woods on Lasalle Street.
After review by the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was identified as David Crawford.
Homicide Unit & Missing Persons Unit detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this case, but they do not believe foul play is involved.
