Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit have charged David Marsh, 31, with sexual assault of a child. David is a security guard with G4S in Charlotte, NC. He was arrested on September 8, 2021.
On Labor Day September 6, 2021, David was on duty and transported a juvenile patient with an involuntary commitment order from a medical center in Rowan County to another medical facility in Charlotte, NC.
During the transport, Daivd is accused of engaging in a sexual act with the victim, investigators say. The victim disclosed the incident to a medical professional, and police responded to conduct the investigation.
On September 8, 2021, David spoke with detectives at police headquarters. After the discussion, David was arrested and transferred to the custody of the jail.
Daivd is charged with statutory rape greater than 6 years, statutory sex offense, two counts of sexual activity by a custodian, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.
