Border Patrol agents along with federal law enforcement partners discovered a stash house for illegal immigrants in Laredo, Texas.
The stash house was discovered during the late afternoon of September 23, 2021 at a home. Over 50 undocumented immigrants were inside the house. They were from the countries of Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, and Honduras. All of the suspects were apprehended.
The apprehended individuals were not wearing personal protective equipment when they were found.
Border Patrol agents provided the illegal immigrants with masks and medical screening.
The substandard conditions typically encountered when stash houses are found can foster a breeding ground for COVID-19, illnesses, and other communicable diseases.
