VIDEO: MAN HAD GUN IN CHURCH POINTING AT PEOPLE, PASTOR TACKLES HIM

Date:

The heroic actions of a pastor and several of his parishioners saved a church from gunshots and potential murder. On Sunday November 7, 2021 the senior pastor of Nashville Light Mission Pentecostal Church in Nashville, Tennessee tackled Dezire Baganda, 26, as he had a gun out waving it at people.

See video of a church shooting that killed 3 people.

Dezire was sitting in the front row of the church when he pulled out a gun and walked up to the alter where the pastor was praying with several members.

Dezire told everyone to get up while he waved and pointed the handgun at the congregation. The pastor snuck around to the back of the suspect and quickly tackled Dezire before any shots were fired.

A church pastor in South Carolina got an under aged teenage girl pregnant twice.

Several church members jumped in to assist in disarming Dezire and holding him to the ground until officers arrived on scene.

While Dezire was not a member of the church, the pastor said he had attended services before. Last year the same church asked Dezire to stop coming to the church services because he kept verbally interrupting pastors during their sermons.

Dezire is charged this afternoon with 15 counts of felony aggravated assault. Multiple counts are expected to be added.
