A fatal motor vehicle collision occured on November 16, 2021 on Wilkinson Boulevard Charlotte, NC. 67-year-old Thomas Allison died from the crash.
A Chevy Impala was traveling on Wilkinson Boulevard. Thomas was walking in the roadway in a non-crosswalk area in the Chevy vehicle’s lane of travel when he was struck by the right side of the Chevy Impala.
Thomas was found in the roadway with severe injuries. Medic transported Thomas to Atrium Health Main hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the Chevy Impala remained on the scene.
Thomas was later pronounced deceased due to the injuries he sustained from the crash.
An officer from Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s DWI Task Force also responded to the scene. Impairment and speed are not suspected as contributing factors to this crash for the driver of the Chevy.
