Trinity Thompson, 19, and Zavia Jeter, 19, are charged with the Charlotte, NC murder of 31-year-old Daniel Vergara. The suspects were arrested on December 8, 2021.
The victim was killed in December 2020 during a physical altercation on Valcourt Road; there was an alleged robbery occurring. Around 8 at night, cops were called to the scene regarding Daniel potentially in need of medical attention.
Daniel was found on the ground with apparent trauma. Daniel was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A few days later, Daniel died.
A year later in December 2021 Trinity and Zavia were arrested and charged with Daniel’s murder.
