The police Missing Persons Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the victim and suspect of a recent kidnapping on Driftwood Drive Charlotte, NC. Video shows that on December 15, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m. a woman was beaten and kidnapped.
The doorbell footage shows a violent encounter between a man and a woman. The female victim can be seen attempting to flee from the male suspect on foot while seeking help and knocking on a door.
The suspect then grabbed the woman, threw her to the ground and proceeded to assault her multiple times.
The victim is then dragged against her will toward a vehicle parked on the road. The vehicle was last seen traveling toward Albemarle road. Detectives believe that the victim has sustained injuries that need immediate medical treatment due to this assault and kidnapping.
The resident of the doorbell video showed the footage to police.
