2022 is already getting off to a bad start in Charlotte, after a victim was shot on New Years Day
On New Years Day 2022, January 1st a shooting occurred in uptown Charlotte, NC. The shooting was around 2 a.m. during a New Years Eve party. The shooting was on North Tryon Street.
Several people were drinking and partying, when shots suddenly rang out. One victim was shot and was hospitalized. The victim has life threatening injuries.
Suspects are being sought.
Several people were shot or murdered on Christmas Day in the Charlotte area.
