Alphonso Davis, 58, is charged with the murder of 62-year-old Donna Weatherford. Alphonso was arrested on April 19, 2022 in Charlotte, NC.
Donna was murdered on Sloan Drive Charlotte, NC on April 15, 2022.
Close to 1:30 p.m., emergency responders responded to a death investigation call. Homicide Unit detectives also responded to the scene to conduct an investigation along with Crime Scene Search.
The case was initially ruled as a general death investigation, after consultation with the Medical Examiner’s Office, officials then ruled this case as a homicide.
