FENTANYL, MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO TRAFFICKING DEADLY DRUG

In June 2022 Adonis Suggs, 24, pled guilty to trafficking in fentanyl by possession and other drug related charges in Charlotte, NC. Adonis was busted at luxury apartments on 1010 West Trade St.

The drug bust was in November 2020 around midnight at Adonis’s apartment. During a search officers located fentanyl, firearms, heroin, and marijuana. Adonis was arrested and charged on multiple counts.

 At his 2022 trial, Adonis pled guilty on two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking in heroin by possession, trafficking in fentanyl by possession, and trafficking in heroin by transportation.

The judge sentenced Adonis to 90-120 months in prison. He was also ordered to pay the mandatory fine of $100,000.
