MAN ESCAPES FROM COURT DURING TRIAL, FOUND IN CHARLOTTE

Jeremy Franklin, 35, was in court for multiple felony drug offenses. Jeremy escaped court during trial in June 2022 in Concord, NC. He was caught several days later.

Jeremy pled guilty in Cabarrus County Superior Court to numerous criminal offenses and was sentenced to 15 years to 283 months in prison. Jeremy sold cocaine and other drugs in Concord, NC.

At his court trial he avoided justice by leaving the courtroom just before his case was called. Jeremy was apprehended over 24 hours later in Charlotte, N.C. and brought back to Cabarrus County to appear before the court.

Between December 18, 2019 and August 3, 2021 Jeremy committed a plethora of criminal offenses that included trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, sale and delivery of cocaine, possession with the intent to sell/deliver marijuana, possession of heroin, maintaining a place to keep controlled substances in addition to numerous misdemeanor drug charges and driving offenses.
