MAN STABBED IN CENTER CITY CHARLOTTE, SUSPECT CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

On June 30, 2022 a stabbing occurred in center city Charlotte, NC in the business district. Jamarcus Huntley, 37, is accused of stabbing a man on East Trade St.

A 55-year-old male victim was stabbed multiple times in broad daylight during a dispute. The victim had serious injuries and had to be hospitalized. Jamarcus was identified as a suspect, he was arrested shortly afterwards charged with attempted first degree murder and assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill. 

Jamarcus has a lengthy wrap sheet, and he is not new to jail life.
