On August 12, 2022 Desmond Dailey, 20, was charged with the Charlotte, NC murder of Kashawn Johnson, 18. A 15-year-old was also charged with Kashawn’s murder.
Kashawn was shot on May 14, 2022 in a neighborhood on Beech Crest Place.
Upon arrival, officers located Kashawn suffering from a gunshot wound. Medic arrived and transported the victim to Atrium Main Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Desmond was charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The 15-year-old teenager was charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
