On December 21, 2022 Demesha Coleman, 35, was arrested charged with murdering 2 men in a triple shooting at a gas station in St. Louis, Missouri. Darius Jackson, 19, and Joseph Farrar, 49, were killed. Another man was shot in the head, but survived.
Demesha’s Hyundai SUV was stolen on December 21st. She tracked it to a gas station. Demesha and another unidentified man approached the SUV with guns in hand trying to recover it.
Demesha opened the SUV door and pointed her gun at Darius. At some point Demesha shot several times, hitting Darius. Joseph was shot and found dead near a gas pump.
Darius died on scene.
A third man was shot in the head and rushed to the hospital, he survived. Demesha got her SUV back, but she was arrested, charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of assault along with three counts of armed criminal action.
It was not immediately clear if any of the three men shot were suspected of stealing the SUV.
