Anndel Taylor, 22, is the latest Charlotte, NC woman that has been found dead. On Christmas Eve December 24, 2022 Anndel was found dead in Buffalo, New York on the side of the road during a massive snow storm.
Anndel is from Charlotte and graduated from West Mecklenburg High School. Anndel later moved to New York for CNA school and a business degree.
Above video shows that on December 23rd at 11 p.m. Anndel was on her way home from work in Buffalo. The entire state of New York sustained large snow totals due to a very wind chilled blizzard.
While Anndel was driving home, her vehicle got stuck in the snow. The snow was coming down hard and fast, the snow also caused visibility issues, as the visibility was 0.
While Anndel was stuck on the side of the road, she took video of the white out conditions and of the snow accumulating fast. Anndel called for help, but emergency officials got stuck themselves in the snow and could not find Anndel.
Anndel waited 24 hours in her car waiting for help. She even called friends and family to help her.
Snow began to pile up fast around Anndel’s car and her windows were covered with snow. Anndel planned to sleep out the storm in her car and then walk home at daylight.
But snow totals got so deep that snow began to clog Anndel’s vehicle exhaust pipes. Anndel’s vehicle then shut off. After over 24 hours of being stuck Anndel was found dead inside her car.
Anndel likely died from hypothermia or carbon monoxide poisoning due to the dangerous gas building up in her vehicle when the snow clogged her exhaust.
