CHARLOTTE DRUG DEALER CAUGHT WITH OVER A KILOGRAM OF COCAINE

Date:

Prince Chambers, 51, was sentenced to 175-222 months in prison on March 17, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. Prince sold cocaine in the area.

In 2017, Charlotte Mecklenburg police conducted covert surveillance at Prince’s home after they received information that he was trafficking drugs in Charlotte.

Police watched as Prince carried a large cardboard box and plastic grocery bags to a vehicle and then drove it. Police followed Prince and pulled him over in a traffic stop.

During the stop, police discovered that the cardboard box contained a kilo press, which is a device used to brick kilos of cocaine. The plastic bags contained 1,613 grams of powder cocaine.

Prince was arrested on drug charges.

6 years later Prince finally had his court trial. The jury convicted Prince on trafficking in cocaine by possession and trafficking in cocaine by transportation.
