Antoinette Candia-Bailey, 49, killed herself on January 8, 2024 in Missouri. Antoinette was the vice president of student affairs at Lincoln University in the state.
Antoinette had been terminated by Lincoln University on January 3, 2024. Antoinette told family and friends that her job was depressing. Antoinette even told family members that she sustained bullying and severe mistreatment in her leadership role at the college.
Antoinette had the vice president job since May of 2023.
The president of Lincoln University John Moseley said that Antoinette was fired due to continued failure to appropriately supervise staff and continued failure to properly supervise the area of student affairs at Lincoln University.
