Nikayla Miller, 23, was arrested in September 2026 charged with child abuse in Charlotte, NC after her child was found alone on Rozzelles Ferry Rd.
Nikayla’s child was left alone for hours on Rozzelles Ferry Rd. The area is very high crime. The child was walking on the road with little clothes on. A truck driver called 911 after making deliveries up and down the street and seeing the child in distress.
EMS arrived and comforted the child. Eventually emergency responders were able to locate the mom Nikayla.
Nikayla was arrested charged with child abuse. The child was temporarily in DSS custody.
