Watch as a ATM fraud suspect throws a large amount of cash out the truck window during chase
On September 16, 2026, a high speed chase led to cash being thrown out of the window in Pearland, TX. Police Officers were dispatched to a bank in reference to suspicious activity at the ATM drive thru.
A masked male was making multiple ATM transactions using several different cards and withdrawing large amounts of cash.
While officers were responding to the scene, the suspect was observed entering the passenger seat of a white GMC Sierra, which then left the area.
The Pearland Police Department’s Drone team used a drone to track the truck. The passenger was detained in a parking lot away from the ATM scene. The driver then fled the parking lot in the truck.
Cops attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the GMC Sierra truck. The driver failed to stop. During the vehicle pursuit, officers observed the driver throwing large amounts of cash from the vehicle in the amount of $6,000.
The truck ran out of gas and stopped. The driver was arrested.
