A woman was shocked to death by downed power lines during a thunder storm
37-year old Sarah Freeman Chillot was electrocuted to death on July 7, 2026 at her home on Craig Avenue Charlotte, NC. Sarah was recently married to a young man that was a sports broadcaster.

A sprawling wind thunder storm occurred on July 7th. Wind rain and lightening caused power outages and power lines to be knocked down.
Sarah was outside likely walking her dogs, when she was electrocuted by downed power lines. She loved dogs.

It appears the severe storms caused a tree branch to fall onto overhead power lines that ignited fires and knocked the powerful electrical wires to the ground.
Sarah was killed on contact by the high deadly voltage.
