2 men are in jail after a barber was murdered
Vaquan Davis, 27, was arrested on May 14, 2026 accused of murdering Tanarus Henry, 31, at the intersection of 7th Street and Davidson Street in uptown Charlotte, NC. The first suspect charged with the same murder was Tychicus Dobie, 29. Tanarus was a barber in Charlotte.
Tanarus was murdered on November 14, 2025 in uptown Charlotte. Suspects ran up to him and shot him dead.
Tychicus was arrested accused of the murder on April 23, 2026. Just weeks later Vaquan was also arrested charged with murder in the same crime.
