On February 8, 2024 in Atlanta, GA a maid at the Georgian Terrace Hotel found 9 bricks of cocaine in a guest’s room. 24-year-old Voskae Wallace was arrested and charged with cocaine offenses.
A maid at the hotel was doing house keeping cleanup in the guest’s room when she found 9 bricks of cocaine in a closet tucked in a duffle bag.
The maid called Atlanta police and notified management. Police arrived on the scene and took the cocaine to a police vehicle to count it.
The 9 kilograms of cocaine is worth $250,000. Detectives reviewed the hotel surveillance video and identified the suspect as Voskae Wallace.Within a few days of the cocaine discovery, police and DEA agents arrested Voskae at an apartment complex and charged him with trafficking cocaine. Investigators are working to determine if the drugs are connected to a Mexican cartel.
