REAL ESTATE AGENT WINS $8 MILLION AT PUBLIX GROCERY STORE NEAR CHARLOTTE

Date:

High net worth real estate agent Haya Freitekh is a lot more richer, she won $8 million in the lottery this week. Haya just leveled up her commission game

Haya Freitekh lives in Waxhaw, NC. Haya is a real estate agent selling high value homes to rich folks. On April 21, 2026 Haya won $8 million in the lottery at a Publix grocery store in Marvin, NC.

Haya bought a $50 scratch off Million Money Maker ticket from the Publix on Providence Road South. Haya had the clerk scan the ticket without even scratching it off, and it was electronically determined instantly that Haya won the $8 million jackpot.

Haya went to lottery headquarters in Raleigh, NC to get her cash. Winnings of $100,000 plus must be claimed at lottery headquarters.

Haya could choose to receive an annuity of $400,000 a year over 20 years or a lump sum of $4.8 million. Haya wisely chose the lump sum of $4.8 million but annoying and quite frankly unfair state and federal taxes butchered her total take home money to $3,456,494, hence that was the amount directly deposited into her bank account.
